Wooden Fences
The classic option is a wooden fence. Wooden fences are a great choice to keep your dog’s vision of the outside world hidden from them (as long as they are solid, not slatted). They prohibit your dog from seeing visitors or passers-by and in return, your pet will not bark loudly causing less of a disturbance to your neighbors. Wooden fences would be a great accessory to consider if you want your noise-making dog to be silent more often. On top of that, it can also help prohibit trespassing from unwanted visitors such as dog-kidnappers and other critters that could harm your pet.
Vinyl Fences
A vinyl fence would be an ideal option for large dog breed owners. Vinyl fences are 5 times stronger than wood and can also last longer. Wood can easily rot or be destroyed by a large dog that constantly puts force on your fences. Maintenance of a vinyl fence is also much easier to perform if your dog tends to dirty your fence often. Applying soap and a high-pressure washer will easily clean away the mud off your fence.
Chain Link Fences
Usually the most economical choice of fencing. Chain link fences are a good choice for dog owners if you want to make a run enclosure for your canine. If your dog makes a lot of noise just by looking at passers-by, you can also easily add limited-sight features to your chain link fence. You can train vines or other plants to weave through the chain-link or weave plastic sheeting through the fence to obscure your dog’s vision.
